A flow in motion
A selection becomes a sale.
Follow the handoff from products and stock checks to a customer’s transaction and its saved receipt.
Start with available products.
Choose products and check stock before carrying quantities into the transaction.
Plays while in view. Pause or choose a stage to explore at your own pace. A conceptual visualization using sample data, independent of the original application.

01 / The project
The project
in context.
A submitted Web Programming project built around the daily tasks of a point-of-sale system. The interface connects product and category management with customers, staff, sales, and order reports. Its value in my portfolio is the complete application flow: different roles have different tasks, and a sale needs to carry its products, quantities, customer, and receipt through the same journey.
The user flow
- 01Sign in
- 02Find products
- 03Check stock and quantities
- 04Select the customer
- 05Complete the transaction
- 06View the order and receipt
02 / The making
What went
into it.
One workspace, several responsibilities
The application separates product, category, customer, employee, and sales areas. This makes the information structure part of the task: staff can move between records and a transaction without treating every screen as an isolated form.
From product selection to receipt
The transaction flow includes a product list, stock checks, customer lookup, and PDF receipt generation. Order details and sales reports provide a way to inspect the result after checkout.
Forms with consequences
Create, edit, delete, block, and unblock actions appear across the management screens. Login, first-login password changes, and profile editing add account states to the same application.
A foundation in browser interfaces
PHP views, Bootstrap layout, JavaScript interactions, and MySQL-backed records connect the visible interface with persistent data. This is an earlier coursework application, presented for its task structure and flow rather than as a recently redesigned product.
